〇 I always wanted to make an AMV on the same scale as Breathtaking World or better, while being unique. Experia is a culmination of all the best ideas I had up to the point of its release. It's a stylized term for Experience. The idea was to let someone experience OP for 12 minutes. Carefully designed and paced for everyone, fans and non-fans alike. Experia also refers to Exploration, Expression, and "-eria" as to denote places. Hence, this is about featuring all of these elements.
I didn't want it to be Breathtaking World 2, nor did I want to put that in the title. I simply wanted it to be called "The One Piece Experia". Simple, so that everything would open up directly to the viewers as they watch. But this approach seemingly ended up hurting the performance of initial days. So I ended up adjusting the title to what it is now, hoping it will help in the future. I still want it to be known as The One Piece Experia.
〇 This project will remain my fav. The amount of love, time, thoughts and effort I poured into this probably won't be repeated by me again. I'm just glad I was able to finish it completely satisfied. I put special care to make it future-proof, so that I can always look back into it. God kept me safe and gave me inspiration every day. All credit goes to Him. It has all been for non-profit reasons—for mutual enthusiasm towards the story, to create memories, and to make new OP friends. It's a love letter.
〇 All audio and visual elements are carefully combined with POV shots to maximize the experience. I wanted transitions and colors between clips to shift smoothly—the blues and greens, the cold and warm. Music selection, once again, took quite a while, all chosen to compliment this wonderful world and deliver a rich atmosphere. The 70% of the video expresses "real" emotions, connecting OP to our own world as a strong echo of our own story. I've been learning and so have been others. It goes way deeper than politics, and I really wish I could reach people who recognize them. It act both as a tribute towards this series, and more importantly as a real prayer for everyone and everything in our real world, and is personal to me.
〇 There are many references and symbolisms here, both in and out of the story. I would love it if you can tell. For example, the real length of the video is intentional (12:21 as in scripture and angel numbers, as well as 12 and 21 individually). Metadata might show different. Towards the end, Harley has 8 circles, ending with the verse: "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" and the text after that, are the most important.
All of these were my driving forces to complete this project.
